Sterling silver decanter label tag engraved 'COGNAC' on the face, suspended from a silver-tone cable chain. The oval tag features elaborate Rococo-style repousse work: scrolling cartouche border, a floral cluster at the top center, and a grape-and-leaf motif at the bottom. Marked STERLING and a 'W' maker's mark on the reverse. Tag measures approximately 1.9 inches wide by 1.15 inches tall; overall length hanging on chain is approximately 4 inches. Weight is 8 g.
