Sterling silver sugar spoon by S. Kirk & Son Inc., marked on the back 'S Kirk and Son Inc. Sterling.' The handle is fully covered in heavy repoussé work featuring a lush, densely layered floral composition — chrysanthemums, daisies, and five-petal blossoms with finely chased leaves and stippled background fill the entire handle face in high relief. The bowl is plain and polished, oval in form. This is Kirk's iconic 'Repousse' pattern (introduced 1828), one of the most recognized and collected American sterling flatware patterns. Measures approximately 5.9 inches long by approximately 1.15 inches wide. Total weight 26 g. Shows light age-appropriate patina consistent with antique use.
