Vintage 950 silver trinket box by Plateria Reforma, marked '950/1000 Plateria Reforma' on the base. Square form with a hinged lid, decorated throughout with bold repoussé and chased floral motifs — a large rose with leaf sprays centered on the lid, and matching rose medallions on the sides. High-polish silver-tone finish with oxidized detailing in the recesses that accentuates the embossed design. Interior fitted with a removable wood liner. Measures approximately 3.3 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep by 1.3 inches tall. Total weight including the wood liner is 236 g. One hinge pin/spot on the back is missing; otherwise in good overall condition with age-appropriate wear. A handsome example of Mexican silver holloware craftsmanship.
