Peruvian Sterling Silver & Malachite Modernist Disc Pendant

A striking mid-century modernist disc pendant from Peru, set with a vivid green malachite stone in a yellow-tone bezel with a center-pierced, spinning-wheel design. The malachite displays rich, variegated green patterning with characteristic natural banding. The bale is yellow-tone and passes through a central hole in the disc, allowing the pendant to spin freely — a hallmark of the modernist Peruvian silversmithing tradition. Marked '925 PERU KV' on the reverse. Disc diameter is approximately 30 mm; thickness approximately 3.6 mm. Total height including bale loop is approximately 1.45 inches. Total weight is 10 g.
