Gorham Strasbourg pattern sterling silver pierced serving spoon, measuring 8.5 inches long by 1.8 inches wide. The bowl is pierced with elongated slots and tines, transitioning into the richly chased Strasbourg handle featuring scrolling Rococo acanthus and shell motifs in high relief. The handle terminal displays the characteristic shell-and-scroll cartouche of the pattern. No monogram. Marked 'Gorham Sterling' on the reverse. Shows light surface wear consistent with age and use. A classic example of Gorham's long-running Strasbourg flatware pattern, introduced in 1897.
