Large sterling silver serving fork in the Lily pattern by Whiting Mfg. Co., dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The handle features deeply cast, high-relief lily blossoms and scrolling foliage running the full length of the shank, terminating in a richly detailed floral finial — a hallmark of the American Art Nouveau aesthetic of the period. The four-tine fork head transitions from the ornate handle via a shell-and-scroll shoulder. Measures 11.5 inches long by approximately 1.8 inches wide. Total weight is 123 g — a notably heavy, substantial piece. Marked with the Whiting maker's mark and STERLING on the reverse. The handle cartouche is not monogrammed. Shows light age-appropriate patina in the recesses of the relief work, consistent with its antique age.
