Alvin Manufacturing Co. sterling silver berry spoon in a richly detailed Art Nouveau pattern. The handle features high-relief repousse floral motifs — clusters of blossoms and curving stems running the full length — terminating in an ornate flower finial at the top. The broad, scalloped bowl is shaped in a multi-lobed form consistent with period berry serving pieces, with a bright polished interior. Marked STERLING and PATENT with the Alvin maker's mark on the reverse. Measures 7.7 inches long by 2.65 inches wide. Total weight 59 g. No monogram. Good condition overall.
